Andrew was born in Scotland in 1964 and along with his family immigrated to Canada in 1968 settling in the Southwestern Ontario farming community of St. Mary's. The family moved often and Andrew finished high school at Central Elgin Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas, Ontario. After taking a year to explore the Canadian far north and western provinces, Andrew enrolled at Humber College in Rexdale to study film and television production, where he excelled. After graduation he found employment with the Partners Film Company in Toronto and later moved to Windsor to work for the CBC, largely because the real estate market was more affordable. Even at that young age, Andrew understood the significance of real estate and acted on it.

In 1991 Andrew came to Hamilton as a freelance television producer working for CHCH TV. Andrew's success in producing local commercials, corporate video and station promotions led to full time employment with the company in 1993. Over the next few years Andrew discovered the wonderful community spirit and quality of life that is a Hamilton signature. Like so many others, Andrew's career aspirations led him away from Hamilton, only to realize that Hamilton had become his home and that life is better in Hamilton.

In January 2005 Andrew sold his Toronto house, invested in yet another Southwest Hamilton property and "came home" to launch his new career as a registered real estate sales professional. Anyone who has known Andrew over the years sees his move into real estate sales as a natural, evolutionary progression... a perfect fit.

Throughout his career as a TV producer, Andrew continuously invested in real estate whenever circumstances and opportunity provided. Managing the rental properties and renovating his own residence provided Andrew with a comprehensive, "real world" education in property ownership.

Andrew looks forward to sharing this knowledge and proven real estate instincts with all his friends - old and new. Whether buying or selling, personal or investment, residential or commercial, know that Andrew has the skill, motivation and entrepreneurial drive to become a major force in the Hamilton real estate scene.

Andrew currently lives in the Durand area of Hamilton and works out of the Hess Village office of Glanville and Associates Realty Inc. Focusing his marketing efforts on the Southwest part of the city, extending out to include Ancaster and Dundas, Andrew proudly proclaims to his real estate clients that he is; "Their man in Durand."
